Swåp are carving out a pioneering musical
pathway, building devoted audiences with concert appearances from
Tonder to Tokyo and broadcast slots on BBC Radio 3`s Late Junction
and BBC4TV. This hot Anglo Swedish quartet has melded their respective
traditions to make a new music of haunting fragility and breathless
attack.
The release of the acclaimed “Mosquito Hunter” CD, on
Grammy winning label Amigo in Spring 2003 heralded an exciting performance
schedule for Swåp . The tour included their third visit to
Japan, prestigious festival shows in Scandinavia and Scotland, tours
of the UK which thrilled enthusiastic crowds.
Now with their fourth CD, DU DA, Swåp are looking forward
to a busy 2006, touring the UK, USA and Sweden. Hope to see you
